I sit here
Facing towards Mt Adams
Thinking about all of you
It’s been three years
Since I started my treatment
The day after memorial day
Is when I first saw Dr Sokolova
Like the mountain
You have all provided me
With sunshine
And joy
How you have taken care of me
As the mountain radiates
And envelops me.
All of you with your caring
Have done the same
You have shared your hearts
With me
As you dance between
Cancer patients
You are amazing people
Knowing how to do that dance
I’m so grateful to have you there
To have you as my care team
You are in my heart
Thank you for being
The people you are.
