I’m thinking of all of you this morning
You’re in my heart
The care I’ve gotten
The trial I’m on
I made it past cycle 50
I still feel good
I still walk everyday
Up and down hills
In the the gorge
Sometimes when I’m walking
I think of you
People who have given
Part of their life
For patients like me
Cancer patients
Stage 4
In some sense
We are all stage 4
Of course cancer patients
Think about our deaths
I think about my life
And people like you
So grateful I am
To have you there
To know that you have my care
If I could
I would hug every one of you
I’m a hugger
I’m a Pisces
What can I say
So I write you poems
Just to share my gratitude
To share that place
That you have touched my heart

For just being there
